The Challenge:
When discerning homeowners seek custom rugs, they often envision blending their personality with the folk soul of their neighborhood. Our Miami-based client approached us for bespoke designs that would embody the vibrant, coastal lifestyle of the city while reflecting his refined taste and unique style.
The Solution:
Inspired by the ebb and flow of waves on a tropical shore, we created 2 designs that would resonate with the client’s space and lifestyle. The rugs were crafted to evoke an island atoll, with an organically shaped center surrounded by soft, serene blue tones. This design beautifully complemented the home’s décor, which includes hand-carved wooden furniture, bamboo lamps, and artwork in deep aquatic hues.
Hand-knotted using luxurious New Zealand wool with silk accents, our pieces not only provided an inviting texture but also became a visual centerpiece that embodies the tranquility and elegance of Miami’s coastal ambiance.
The Result: A true work of art—a harmonious flow of coastal inspiration and sophistication. This unique, hand-knotted rug is a testament to the client’s vision, transforming the space into a vibrant reflection of Miami’s charm and refined lifestyle.
